I grew up in East Tennessee and knew early on I loved these mountains and the wildlife in them. I learned to hunt young, and it became one of the things that defined me.
I joined the Army at 19 and got out just before 25. Coming home and adjusting back to civilian life was hard, and getting back into whitetail hunting was how I found my footing again.
The idea came after one bad night looking for blood. What if something could stay with the animal and show up on your phone? That became ArrowTether.
I came up fishing and hiking these same mountains, spending most of my free time outside. That taught me patience and a respect for what nature provides.
I started hunting later in life, but those lessons carried over — patience for the right animal, and respect for what it provides for me and my family.
I'd learned a lot from older hunters, but always felt game recovery was due for something better. ArrowTether is that something.
